Job summary

Sunset Care Homes LLC in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking compassionate Nurse Aides (CNA) to join our caring team. Shifts available: 3p-11p or 11p-7a, with potential for full-time or part-time work.

You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor changes, support mobility, help with meals, maintain a safe environment, and document care per facility protocols. Virginia CNA certification required.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification or training as a Home Health Aide or PCA in Virginia.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or residential care is a plus.
• Ability to work well with nursing staff as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable with a genuine desire to serve others.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and repositioning.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding, ensuring good nutrition and hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Document resident care and observations accurately per facility protocols.
• Build supportive, trusting relationships with residents and families.

Sunset Care Homes LLC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aides to join our caring team in Virginia Beach, VA, specifically for the 3p-11p OR 11p-7a shifts (other shifts will occasionally be available). • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents to prevent pressure injuries


• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration


• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents


• Document resident care and observations accurately in accordance with facility protocols


• Build supportive, trusting relationships with residents and their families

Requirements:

• Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification or training as a Home Health Aide or PCA in the state of Virginia.


• Previous experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or residential care setting a plus


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with nursing staff


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to serve others


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and assisting with transfers
