Qualifications

• Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification or training as a Home Health Aide or PCA in Virginia.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or residential care is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with nursing staff.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to serve others.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Document resident care and observations accurately per facility protocols.
• Build supportive, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
