Qualifications

Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification or training as a Home Health Aide or PCA in Virginia.
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or residential care is a plus.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with nursing staff.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to serve others.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and transfers.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition to nursing staff.
Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
Serve meals and assist with feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Document resident care and observations accurately per facility protocols.
Build supportive, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
