Job summary

Senior Helpers of Virginia Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team. You will provide hands-on care, meaningful companionship, and support that helps seniors live safely and comfortably at home.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification required.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and age 18+ required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with insurance or reliable transportation.
• Proficient smartphone use for scheduling and care documentation.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual is a plus.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks.
• Team-first mindset and genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to pass background check, DMV check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Mobility Support: assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and movement.
• Meal Assistance: prepare meals, assist with feeding, monitor intake.
• Companionship: provide emotional support and reduce isolation.
• Home Environment: keep spaces clean, safe, and organized.
• Safety & Health: follow infection control protocols and PPE guidelines.
• Documentation: record care provided and report changes or concerns.
