Job summary

Geisinger seeks a nursing leader to coordinate and supervise the delivery of care on assigned units, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while supporting the organization’s vision and Magnet environment.

The role includes supervising clinical practice, budgetary and HR activities, collaborating with the Medical Director, advancing patient experience, and maintaining EMR systems while driving improvements and mentoring staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BSN program and 2 YOE.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Enrollment in Bachelor's Degree in Related Field (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises the delivery of nursing care on assigned units.
• Ensures compliance with directives, policies, laws and regulations.
• Develops improvements in organization and delivery of patient care.
• Supports the vision, mission, and goals of Nursing Department and organization.
• Supervises nursing clinical practice, budgets and regulatory activities.
• Supports Electronic Medical Record and patient/family experience.
