Job summary

Geisinger in Wilkes-Barre is seeking a Nursing Leader to coordinate and supervise clinical care across units. The role ensures compliance with policies and regulations, drives improvements in patient care delivery, and supports the organization’s vision and Magnet-inspired environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, participating in policy implementation, and collaborating with Medical Directors and Educators to strengthen orientation and ongoing education for the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BSN program and 2 years of nursing experience.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program; Bachelor's in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing care on assigned units.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Develop improvements in patient care delivery and organizational goals.
• Provide supervision to assigned staff and oversee scheduling and performance appraisals.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Clinical Educators to support orientation and continuing education.
