Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Nursing Leader to coordinate and supervise nursing care on assigned units, ensuring compliance with policies, directives and laws. You will drive improvements in patient care delivery while supporting the organization’s vision and Magnet environment.

The role sits in Geisinger Wyoming Valley with a focus on delivering excellent patient/family experiences and leading departmental initiatives within the nursing department.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BSN program with 2 years of nursing experience.
• Graduate from a specialty training program (required).
• Enrollment in Bachelor's degree in a related field (required); Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing care on assigned units.
• Ensure compliance with directives, policies and laws.
• Develop and initiate improvements in patient care delivery.
• Support the Nursing Department's vision, mission and goals.
