Job summary

Geisinger in Scranton, PA is seeking a Clinical Team Coordinator RN to lead nursing care delivery on an assigned unit, driving improvements and ensuring high-quality, safe patient care through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The role includes supervising staff, performance management, policy interpretation, and Magnet-inspired practice contribution. Hours are 7pm–7:30am with weekend/holiday rotation; requires a BSN and specialty nursing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Graduate from a specialty nursing training program required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises the delivery of nursing care on the assigned unit.
• Assists in developing and supporting unit-level improvements for high-quality, safe, cost-effective patient care.
• Provides direct patient care and supervises assigned staff, including orientation and integration of new employees.
• Conducts performance appraisals, monitors staffing and scheduling, and communicates with operations and department leaders.
• Encourages evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient use of resources on the unit.

Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Required)

Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
