Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Unit Manager Nurse (LPN) to oversee nursing staff in Short Term Rehabilitation. You will assist with admission evaluation, planning, and discharge documentation while maintaining high resident care standards.

Requirements include Nebraska or compact multi-state LPN license and active CPR/BLS. Excellent communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting are essential for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN license in good standing in Nebraska or a multi-state compact.
• Active CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience with older adults in a resident-centered care role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Quality Assurance, Safety, PIPs and other committees as required.
• Provide a safe working environment for staff members, promptly reporting any accidents and implement corrective and preventive action appropriately
• Participate in daily morning meetings.
• Provide education and coaching to nursing staff as needed to improve patient/resident outcomes.
• Provide clinical backup to floors as needed.
• Take weekend on-call according to the assigned on-call rotation schedule (if applicable).
• Complete Chart audits for Medicaid patients monthly.
• Develop and maintain the nursing policies and procedures as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
