Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN in Nebraska or multi-state compact.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with older adults in a resident-centered care setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maturity, flexibility and self-direction.
• Strong English reading, writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and unit operations to meet goals and coordinate with other departments.
• Lead staff to deliver exceptional resident care and family support.
• Maintain resident records per state and federal guidelines.
• Assist in admissions, planning, and discharge documentation.
• Collaborate with DON, NPs and Physicians on care planning.
• Monitor care plans and perform chart audits and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on care and medication administration as needed.
• Participate in Quality Assurance, Safety and other committees.
