Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Unit Manager Nurse to oversee nursing staff, admissions evaluation and planning, discharge documentation, and to maintain the highest level of resident care at 5505 Grover Street. This salaried, full-time role partners with the DON to ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes.

You will supervise staff, develop and adjust care plans, deliver hands-on care and medications, perform chart audits, and provide coaching to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Nursing license in NE or a multi-state license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience caring for older adults in a resident-centered setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations and ensure efficient care delivery and resource use.
• Lead nursing staff and provide coaching to maintain high-quality care.
• Maintain resident records per State and Federal guidelines.
• Coordinate admissions, planning, and discharge documentation with DON and physicians.
• Complete chart audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
