Nebraska Skilled Nursing Care in Columbus, NE is seeking a Unit Manager RN or LPN. The role oversees nursing staff, participates in admission evaluations, and maintains high standards of resident care.

The position is full-time salaried with shifts from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. It reports to the Director of Nursing and involves collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and families to ensure safe, compliant care at all times.

• Demonstrate ability to work with older adults in a resident-centered care role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the unit operates efficiently, meets goals, and coordinates with other units as needed.
• Lead staff in delivering exceptional care to residents and support to their families.
• Maintain resident records according to State and Federal guidelines.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and adjusting patient care plans as needed.
• Supervise, counsel, and provide discipline to nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Collaborates with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians to plan resident care.
