Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus in Columbus, NE is seeking a Unit Manager RN or LPN to lead our nursing staff and coordinate resident care on a full-time basis. The role reports to the DON and requires on-site leadership in a 8am-5pm weekday schedule with on-call rotation.

You will supervise staff, maintain records, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care to residents while supporting families.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the unit operates efficiently and coordinates with other units.
• Lead staff in delivering high-quality resident care and family support.
• Maintain resident records per state and federal guidelines.
• Help maintain and restore residents' health.
• Serve as main contact between residents and families.
• Develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans as needed.
• Supervise, counsel, and discipline nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal/state standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with DON, NPs, and physicians to plan and maintain care.
