Position Overview: The Nurse Unit Manager at University Heights Health and Living oversees daily nursing operations, manages staff, coordinates patient care, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and fosters a positive work environment. Effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams is essential to improve care outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising nursing staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Developing and implementing care plans
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Conducting staff training and evaluations

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN license in Ohio
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN) or Associate’s degree (LPN)
  • Previous leadership or management experience in nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in nursing management or leadership
  • Experience in long-term care or rehab settings
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR)
