Job summary

Villa at Pine Place is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to oversee day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring high-quality care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the plan of care.

The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating with administration and other departments, and maintaining care standards across all units. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning employees as needed, writing performance reviews and enforcing policies.
• Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff, therapy department and other departments in planning care.
• Develops and maintains care standards and performs rounds to monitor resident conditions.
• Provides nursing reports at shift changes and ensures clean, safe work areas.
