Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to lead day-to-day nursing activities at a long-term care facility. You will manage staff, plan patient care, and ensure quality standards are met with proper documentation.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, nursing degree or diploma, CPR certification, and at least two years of supervisory experience, with long-term care/MDS experience preferred. The role offers full-time employment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where practice is located.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a RN license.
• CPR certification current and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing staff, scheduling, performance reviews, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with administration, medical and nursing staff to plan care.
• Develop and maintain care standards and conduct rounds checking patient conditions.
• Oversee shift handoffs, ensure documentation and reporting are completed.
• Maintain clean, sanitary areas and coordinate restorative care plans.
• Support QA/PI activities and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Perform administrative duties including forms, reports, and charting.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and company procedures.
