Job summary

Villa at Pine Place is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager LPN to lead the day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility. You will assess, implement, and evaluate care plans to ensure the highest quality of care.

Candidate must have an active LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. The role requires excellent communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling breaks, and reassignments; writes performance reviews and enforces policies.
• Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Conducts rounds to monitor resident conditions and staff performance.
• Provides shift reports and ensures proper documentation.
• Maintains clean, sanitary nursing areas and equipment.
• Assists QA in action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Performs administrative tasks such as forms, reports, and charting.
• Interprets policies to personnel and residents, and supports patient care.
