Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to oversee daily nursing operations at Villa at Pine Place. You will ensure high-quality care through assessment, planning, and evaluation of the care plan, while guiding staff and coordinating with administration.

The role emphasizes leadership, infection control, and adherence to regulatory standards, with opportunities for growth in a team-focused skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning employees as needed and enforcing policies.
• Meets with administration and staff to plan care and develop standards.
• Performs rounds to monitor resident conditions and care quality.
• Gives and receives shift reports and ensures clean, sanitary work areas.
• Supports QA committee by acting on identified deficiencies and action plans.
• Completes administrative duties and documents required forms and charting.
• Interprets restorative care policies and provides direct nursing care when needed.
• Maintains accurate restorative notes and resident response to care.
