Qualifications

• Must be a licensed LVN or RN recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and attendance consistency are essential.
• Able to multitask, manage stress, and communicate effectively in a team-focused environment.
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate systems that support the delivery of quality resident care.
• Resolve resident care issues and family concerns in a professional, timely manner.
• Implement and evaluate nursing procedures aligned with unit programs.
• Make clinical nursing diagnoses and guide care plans accordingly.
• Perform nursing assessments to monitor resident health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation per company policy and regulations.
• Step in for general nursing duties in emergencies or during staffing shortages.
• Use electronic medical records and demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
