Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN or LVN license recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate systems that support quality resident care.
• Resolve resident care issues and family concerns professionally.
• Implement and evaluate nursing procedures aligned with unit programs.
• Make clinical nursing diagnoses and guide care plans accordingly.
• Perform nursing assessments to monitor resident health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Ensure compliance through quality assurance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policy and regulations.
• Step in for general nursing duties during emergencies or shortages.
• Use electronic medical records and demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
