Qualifications

• Must possess an active Texas LVN license or RN license.
• 2 years’ long-term care experience preferred.
• Six months rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrate leadership, organization, and professionalism.
• Strong knowledge of PointClickCare preferred.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook and Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Assist Director of Nursing and admin to meet standards.
• Provide staff in-services and development aligned to quality care.
• Identify safety concerns and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in audits and budgeting within nursing.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and scheduling.
• Engage in infection control and compliance programs.
• Assist with hiring processes and new employee onboarding.
