Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager LPN to oversee daily nursing activities and ensure high-quality care standards. You will assess, implement, and evaluate the care plan while coordinating with administrators, therapy, and nursing staff to maintain excellent resident outcomes.

The role requires leadership, communication, and adaptability, with responsibilities including supervision, documentation, and collaboration across departments. Strong LTC/MDS exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of Ohio.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage nursing staff and uphold policies.

Responsabilités

• Manage nursing staff, schedule breaks, reassign staff per facility needs.
• Conduct performance reviews and enforce policies with coaching as needed.
• Meet with admin, medical, therapy, and nursing staff in care planning.
• Develop and maintain care standards for residents.
• Make rounds to assess resident conditions and staff performance.
• Provide and document nursing care and referrals as needed.
• Ensure clean, sanitary patient care areas and equipment.
• Assist QA committee in corrective action plans.
• Complete required medical forms, reports, and charting.
