Springside in Pittsfield, MA seeks a Nurse Unit Manager for our Long-Term Care Unit. The ideal candidate will hold an active MA RN or LPN license, CPR certification, and have strong supervisory and infection control experience. Expect a demanding, compassionate environment with opportunities to lead and mentor staff.
The role includes coordinating care, supervising nursing staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives in a supportive team setting.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
- Current CPR certification.
- Two years of clinical nursing experience with at least one year in long-term care.
- Experience in supervision, teaching, and infection control.
Responsabilités
- Ensure resources are used to deliver quality patient care.
- Coordinate with departments, patients, and families for interdisciplinary care.
- Oversee unit and nursing staff and assist as needed.
- Orient and educate staff; support competency and practice improvement.
- Monitor resident and staff infections and infection control practices.
