Job summary

MediLodge Kalamazoo is seeking a Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor (RN) to direct the nursing unit in a long-term care setting. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, and quality of care while coordinating with physicians and families to ensure resident well-being.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree or equivalent, and prior LTC leadership experience. This position offers competitive wages and a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure.
• Experience leading nursing staff in long-term care.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the nursing unit in a long-term care facility.
• Hire, discipline, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Plan and facilitate meetings to address resident care issues.
• Ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls.
• Monitor clinical operations and ensure high-quality care.
• Assist orientation of new personnel and support staff development.
• Participate in the facility QA program.
