Healthcare Nursing Center is seeking an RN/LPN Nursing Manager to lead the nursing unit during day shifts with an on-call rotation. You will guide RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to deliver high-quality resident care and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong clinical leadership, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN or LPN license.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage day-to-day unit operations and on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit.
• Provide leadership and guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident needs and care quality.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the care team.
• Participate in assessments, care conferences, and discharge planning.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals.
• Participate in on-call rotation after hours.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated RN/LPN Nursing Manager to oversee our nursing unit during day shifts with an on-call rotation. The Unit Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Conducting regular rounds to assess resident needs and monitor the quality of care
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Participating in resident assessments, care conferences, and discharge planning
• Serving as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing clinical guidance and support as needed
• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
• Participating in an on-call rotation to provide support and guidance to staff during off-hours

Requirements

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of MA
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff to provide exceptional care
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
