Job summary

The Aultman Health Foundation seeks an Assistant Nursing Manager (RN) to lead a 24/7 unit, oversee nursing staff, and support the Clinical Unit Director in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include supervising a team, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care, coordinating with other disciplines, and driving staff development while maintaining regulatory readiness and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Ohio RN license and BSN; MSN preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience in acute care.
• Current BLS certification; NIHSS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNCC certification within six months of hire and maintained.
• Membership in professional nursing organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff; dedicate at least 50% of time to supervisory duties.
• Provide clinical leadership and support direct patient care as needed.
• Collaborate with Unit Director on operational decisions and priorities.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, retention, and development of colleagues.
