UF Health—Jacksonville seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the Nurse Manager in supervising nursing staff and delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist in hiring, staff evaluations, orientation, and performance improvement initiatives while helping devise and manage departmental budgets.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care and outstanding customer service within a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualificações

• Active RN license in Florida
• BLS required for all areas
• ACLS and PALS certification required for specified departments or units
• STABLE certification within required timeframe for designated units
• Experience as a practicing RN in acute care (3–5 years)

Responsabilidades

• Provide supervision and clinical guidance to staff in assigned area
• Assist Nurse Manager/Nursing Director with hiring/firing, evaluations, and orientation
• Lead performance improvement activities and education
• Assist in budgeting and resource management for department
• Promote patient-centered care and excellent customer service on the unit
