The role supports the Nurse Manager in hiring, evaluating staff, orienting new employees, and implementing performance improvements to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position requires Florida RN licensure, 3–5 years of acute care nursing, and BSN within three years of hire.

Formación

• Licensed to practice nursing in Florida.
• New hires must have a BSN within three years of hire or transfer.
• ACLS required for designated departments.
• PALS/NRP required for specified units where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide supervision and clinical expertise to nursing staff.
• Assist Nurse Manager with hiring/firing and staff evaluations.
• Assist in devising and managing departmental budgets.
• Facilitate positive customer service and patient-centered care on the unit.
