Job summary
South Suburban College is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to oversee clinical placement and compliance for ADN and BNATP programs. You will plan and coordinate advanced and basic nurse aide training, maintain records, and ensure IDPH requirements are met.
The role requires RN licensure, teaching/management experience, and ability to travel to clinical sites. Responsibility includes curriculum development, scheduling, and stakeholder collaboration within the Nursing department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing with minimum two years teaching BNATP or ADN with four years of experience.
- Must possess current RN license in good standing with CPR updated.
- Experience advising students, teaching theory, lab and clinical instruction.
- Experience with clinical arrangements, agreements and health compliance management.
- Travel to clinical sites and possess strong data entry skills.
Responsibilities
- Secure clinical placement sites for ADN and BNATP and maintain affiliation agreements.
- Schedule required practicum sites with Deans, chairs and liaisons.
- Prepare and manage course schedules, student records and health compliance files.
- Develop and revise BNATP curriculum per IDPH regulations and needs.
- Identify and supervise BNATP instructors and manage staff.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders and support marketing materials.
