Job summary

Shore Community Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN Trainer to serve as our primary clinical administrator in Skokie, IL. You will oversee medical care, medication systems, regulatory compliance, and supervision of clinical staff across residential and day programs.

Lead clinical supervision, ensure audit-ready standards, and build scalable nursing workflows. Requires IL RN license, BSN, and IDD/community health experience; office-based, full-time with travel between sites.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
• Active Illinois RN license and RNT certification within 120 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with IDD or community health management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary nursing authority across all programs, ensuring Rule 116 and Rule 115/350 compliance.
• Lead medical survey preparations for DHS, IDPH, BALC, BQM, and CARF; develop Plans of Correction.
• Conduct medication reconciliation within 24 hours of hospital discharge; review incident reports.
• Oversee training, competency validation, annual observation, and retraining for all unlicensed personnel.
• Build centralized compliance-tracking dashboard with real-time expiration monitoring.
• Perform quarterly QA trending on medication errors, ER visits, falls, hospitalizations.
