Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth is seeking a Nurse Aide to support nursing staff with basic patient care, daily living activities, and a safe, clean environment.

The role requires CPR/BCLS certification, at least six months in acute or long-term care, and the ability to work 3x12 shifts (7a–7p) with weekend rotation. Join a safety‑driven team focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
  • Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
  • Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
  • Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
  • Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
