Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation Tech to join our full-time team. You will help prepare and clean treatment areas, position patients, move and transport patients, and assist therapists to deliver exceptional care.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, CPR/BCLS certification, and at least six months of experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in our compassionate hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum six months healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean treatment areas.
• Position patients and assist with transfers.
• Procure and inventory supplies for therapies.
• Transport and assist patients and therapists.
• Prepare patients for prescribed treatment and assist staff; maintain clean areas.

How You'll Contribute

A Rehabilitation Tech who excels in this role:

Will be responsible for preparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas, positioning patients, procurement and inventory of supplies, transporting and assisting patients and therapist. Will have the ability to transport, life, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, therapy gym and other common areas of the hospital. Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment and cleans and maintains area.
