Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shift (7p–7a) to join our rehabilitation team.

You will perform direct patient care under RN supervision, conduct assessments, and participate in interdisciplinary planning to support optimal outcomes. We value teamwork, communication, and compassionate patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational program.
• Current state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• IV certification required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
• Minimum one year LPN experience; six months Medical/Surgical in acute care preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.

How you'll contribute

As an employee of TRH Fort Worth you will join a team that embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. You will work with a team committed to ensure patients receive optimal medical attention and support. As an LPN you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering treatments, assisting in assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patient's needs.

What we are looking for

a licensed LVN passionate about patient care

• Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational program.
