Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Nursing Student to join our compassionate team and gain exposure to diverse patient populations while delivering high-quality care.

The Nurse Tech will assist with patient care under RN supervision, assemble and operate equipment, notify the team of changes in patient condition, participate in education per policy, and support risk management processes.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program or current Oklahoma CNA licensure.
• To remain Nurse Tech, must pass every semester including clinical and theory.
• BLS required.
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment assessment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per Patient/Family Education policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes of UHS.
