Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nursing Student to join the team as a Nurse Tech.

This role provides exposure to diverse patient populations and supports exceptional patient care under supervision of an RN. As a vital member of the care team, you will demonstrate competence with equipment, communicate changes in patient condition, participate in patient education, and diligently report variances per risk management protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in and successfully complete the first semester of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Oklahoma CNA licensure or current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program.
• BLS certification required.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment and demonstrate tasks before performing independently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in assembling and operating equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes.
