Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nursing Student to join our team as a Nurse Tech, providing support in patient care and operating with a high standard of compassion.

You will perform duties under the supervision of an RN and help ensure safe, efficient care across diverse patient populations. We welcome current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program or an Oklahoma CNA license in Long Term Care, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in and successful completion of the first semester of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Oklahoma CNA licensure in Long Term Care with active enrollment in a nursing program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment and demonstrate each task before performing independently.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in assembling and operating equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes.
