Corewell Health's Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the 3D Medical-Surgical unit. You will support the RN with basic patient care, take vitals, assist with activities, and ensure patient safety.
The role involves documenting care, collaborating with the care team, and providing compassionate patient support in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Work Equivalent.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
Responsibilities
- Take vitals and monitor patient status.
- Check blood sugars and provide basic patient care.
- Assist with bed baths and ambulation.
- Provide wound care as prescribed and assist with catheterization.
- Accurately document observations and care provided.
