Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time nurse aide to join the Neuro Critical Care Unit at Butterworth Hospital. You will take vitals, assist with daily activities, monitor patient conditions, and support the care team under RN supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS within 90 days, and prior patient care experience is preferred. Orientation includes 3 day shifts per week for up to 10 weeks, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
• Experience in direct patient care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor blood sugars.
• Assist with bed baths, ambulation, wound care, and catheterization.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation per department guidelines.
• Collaborate with RN/Providers in delivering quality patient care.
