Job summary

The Registered Nurse (Care Team Supervisor) will lead the specialty care team, supervise staff, coordinate huddles, and ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS required for GI and Cardiology.
• Experience in hospital or ambulatory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and support patient safety and satisfaction as established by ACPNY.
• Primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians and support the Advanced Care Model.
• Organize and provide clinical supervision to the specialty patient care team including delegation, mentoring, evaluating, educating, scheduling and counseling.

Education
