Job summary

Villa Healthcare's Spring Meadows A Villa Center is seeking a Nurse Supervisor RN to lead nursing staff during non-business hours, ensuring staffing, workflow, and high-quality patient care. The role acts as the highest on-site authority after-hours, making timely decisions and coordinating care across departments.

The successful candidate will have an active RN license in Ohio, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in long-term care with MDS experience.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification is required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to all on-duty nursing staff during non-business hours.
• Act as the highest-ranking on-site authority during after-hours and weekends.
• Offer clinical expertise and support in resolving patient care challenges.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Makes frequent rounds to monitor resident/patient conditions and ensure staff perform duties.
• Gives and receives nursing reports at shift start and end.
• Ensure nursing areas and patient rooms are clean and sanitary.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary and per department needs.
