Qualifications

• Current SafetyCare and AHA BLS certification.
• Lead RN training.

Responsibilities

• Create and support a workplace culture of safety with emphasis on staffing, communication and prevention of adverse outcomes.
• Support the hospital-wide patient safety program in all areas.
• Round on all units during shift; obtain report from charge RNs at start and end of shift.
• Lead as needed as part of code team and manage debriefing processes.
• Provide clinical guidance and act as incident commander when warranted.
• Coordinate admissions and manage liaison with Pharmacy, Lab and Medical Supply during off hours.
