Job summary

Poway Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee nursing assistants in our long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, supervise daily nursing activities, review care plans, and participate in quality assurance and documentation.

A Nursing Degree with active license and CPR certification is required, along with strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills to maintain

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university and an active license.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to maintain continuing education.
• Experience in nursing care facilities and supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility’s quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Review care plans and coordinate with physicians
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift.
