Valley-View-Post-Acute in California is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to direct the daily nursing activities and supervise CNAs within a long-term care facility. The role requires leadership, planning, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

You will work closely with the Director of Nursing Services to manage care plans, admissions, discharges, and ongoing staff development, while maintaining a safe and compassionate environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have leadership and supervisory ability and be willing to work with and supervise other personnel.

Responsabilités

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines for the facility.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and maintenance of the quality assurance program.
• Supervise nursing staff, plan shifts, and ensure discharge plans are updated.
• Provide nursing care supervision, admissions, transfers, and discharges as required.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments to meet residents' care plans.
