Job summary

Poway Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN Nurse Supervisor to lead the nursing team and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility.

You will ensure adherence to policies, participate in quality assurance efforts, and coordinate care planning with physicians and staff. A nursing degree and active license are required, with strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN or RN in the applicable state.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability; ability to plan, organize, and direct nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure updates are reflected.
• Coordinate and participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility’s quality assurance program.
• Participate in facility surveys and discharge planning processes as required.
• Ensure proper charting, documentation, and adherence to patient care plans.
