Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and supervise the shift.
• Complete and file required records; admit/transfer/discharge residents; communicate with physicians.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop working rapport with inter-departmental staff and maintain a warm, calm unit environment.
• Perform duties such as wound care, IV care, and routine nursing procedures as required.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and uphold privacy in care.
