DEERFIELD BEACH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility in Florida. The role requires ensuring quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

The RN will help develop, maintain, and update nursing policies and procedures, supervise staff, and coordinate care with other resident services. Regular reporting to the DON and participation in regulatory surveys are expected.

Formación

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and current RN license in Florida.
• Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate resident care effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
• Provide written and oral reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) as requested by the Administrator or DON.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
