Job summary

Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN/LPN to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local standards. The role requires an active RN or LPN license and CPR certification, with preferred LTC experience.

You will supervise shifts, maintain documentation, and collaborate with other departments to ensure top-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state.
• Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when situations warrant it.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and supervise staff.
• Complete and file admission/transfer/discharge records and physician orders.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain communication with departments to ensure quality resident care.
• Provide clinical leadership and participate in rounds with physicians as needed.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality of resident information while adhering to regulations.
