Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Louisiana seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care and patient programs within our inpatient rehabilitation facilities. You will mentor staff, ensure protocol adherence, and coordinate patient care across shifts to support optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in required state regulations.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within one year of starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatments, and services on assigned shifts/unit.
• Monitor and manage staff with feedback, evaluations, and counseling.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery.

• Twoyearsofrecentexperienceinaninpatienthospitalsetting(withinthelastfive years).


• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
