Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of West Valley is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical teams and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will guide the development and implementation of care programs, serve as a liaison across administration, nursing management, and staff, and supervise nursing services during shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state regulations.
• BSN preferred.
• CRRN certification within one year.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatments and services during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and discipline.
• Take on patient care as needed and build relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.

• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
