Sonshine Manor is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate resident care on-site. The role requires hands-on leadership, policy development, and collaboration with other departments to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

The Nurse Supervisor will lead staff recruitment, conduct evaluations, and maintain cost controls while supporting the organization's goals and providing exceptional service to residents and families.

Formación

• LPN license is required.
• CPR/First Aid is required.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate resident care with a hands-on management style.
• Develop, review, and revise nursing and clinical policies.
• Lead in recruitment by conducting interviews and selecting qualified staff.
• Ensure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded.
• Provide cost controls by monitoring supplies and equipment.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration with other departments to support patient care.

Sonshine Manor is currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor to join our team.

Nurse Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

• The coordination of resident care with a “hands on” management style

• Strong organizational skills

• Develops, reviews, and revises nursing and clinical policies

• Able to work days but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents

• Ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of Residential Care Regulations

• Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Ability to focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions

• Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded

• Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment

Nurse Supervisor Qualifications and Skills:

• Supervisory: 1 years (Preferred)

• LPN Nurse License (Required)

• CPR/First Aid (Required)
